Engineering a spot among finest places in country to learn
» RENISHAW has been named as one of the leading companies for graduates to work for in the UK.
The global engineering company, based near Wotton-under-edge, was placed second in the engineering and manufacturing sector in the 2019 Jobcrowd rankings.
It was placed 45th in the list of the top 100 companies across all UK sectors.
The rankings are based on anonymous reviews from graduate employees.
Renishaw’s 12 schemes offer graduates hands-on experience through a series of rotational placements in different divisions of the company and static schemes in key areas, ranging from electronics and manufacturing to project coordination and software engineering.

Following the success of this year’s programme Renishaw will be taking on another set of graduates across its 12 schemes in 2020.
Manufacturing engineering graduate Gaby Jenvey said: “My time on the manufacturing engineering scheme has exceeded my expectations.
“My first placement was in production engineering. I have also rotated into roles such as mechanical design engineer to further my skills and broaden my knowledge.”
