How can MPS wage war on own people?

Gloucestershire Echo - - NEWS - Adrian Phillips

✒ THE former head of the Civil Service described a No Deal Brexit as “insane”.

Before Brexit-lovers dismiss this as the predictable response of a Remainer, Bob Kerslake was responding to the news that the Government’s plans envisage the following if we leave the EU without a deal in a few weeks’ time: Less fresh food and food prices rising A hard border between Ireland and the UK, sparking protests

Less fuel, perhaps two oil refineries closing

Patients waiting longer for medicines, including insulin and flu vaccines

Public disorder Passengers being delayed at EU airports, Eurotunnel and Dover

Three months of freight disruption, then operating at 50-70% of the current rate.

This is NOT Project Fear. These are the Government’s own plans. How can any MP – including Alex Chalk - support a Government that wants to wage war on its own people?
