Employers set fair to of­fer­ing more ad­vice

» FOL­LOW­ING the suc­cess of a sim­i­lar event in Jan­uary, Chel­tenham Li­brary is host­ing The Job Fair next month.

More than 700 job­seek­ers met di­rectly with re­cruiters at the first fair and the event on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 4 from 11am-2pm is ex­pected to be more pop­u­lar.

Busi­nesses from a range of in­dus­tries will at­tend in­clud­ing House of Fraser, John Lewis & Part­ners, The Re­gent Ar­cade, and Pri­mark, as well as Chel­tenham’s Lucky Onion Group, which runs No 131 and The Tav­ern.

Glos Jobs will also be of­fer­ing a free em­ploy­a­bil­ity work­shop for all, in­clud­ing ad­vice on how to write a good CV and In­ter­view tips at noon.

The Mayor of Chel­tenham Coun­cil­lor Roger Wy­born will for­mally open the event.
