Advice on offer to start journey in college life
SOUTH Gloucestershire and Stroud College is offering free Information, Advice and Guidance sessions to students looking for assistance with their education and career paths.
The Never Too Late sessions have been running for a number of years, helping more than 7,000 late applicants find a course of study that suits their needs.
Specifically created to help those in need of advice before deciding what to study this September, this impartial service – which runs from Thursday, August 22 – provides assistance on an individual basis with one of the college’s professional advisers.
Potential learners will receive advice on all aspects of student life, including course choice and fees, entry requirements, progression routes and careers.
All advice and guidance on offer is available not only to prospective students aged 16-19, but also adults considering their next career step or who wish to undertake learning in their leisure time.
SGS, has four main campuses – Stroud, Filton, WISE (Stoke Gifford) and Berkeley Green – as well as many local community venues.
We also have venues in the centre of Bristol, at the West of England Academy of Art and at the Bristol Zoo & Gardens.
We welcome around 15,500 full-time and part-time students of all ages every year.
Our campuses are based in state-ofthe-art buildings in great locations – Filton and WISE are within easy reach
of the centre of Bristol, while our Stroud campus is based in the beautiful five valleys in the Gloucestershire.
