Eisa nets first goal for Posh in Ipswich draw
MO Eisa netted his first goal since leaving Cheltenham Town as Peterborough United drew 2-2 at home with Ipswich Town in League One.
The 25-year-old striker joined Peterborough from Bristol City this summer after one season at Ashton Gate, which saw him restricted to five substitute appearances in the Championship.
But he is off the mark for Posh in his fourth appearance, putting them 2-1 up in the 62nd minute at London Road before Luke Chambers’ injury time effort rescued a point for Ipswich.
Eisa scored 23 goals in 45 League Two appearances for Cheltenham in the 2017/18 campaign, earning a £1.5million move to Bristol City.
He joined the Robins from non-league Greenwich Borough in July 2017.
If he is a success at Peterborough, Cheltenham will receive some cash as part of their sell-on clause.
Younger brother Abo has just left Shrewsbury Town to join Scunthorpe United and he made his debut in their 2-2 home draw with Crawley Town on Saturday.
