» There will be a cof­fee morn­ing in aid of Mcmil­lan on Tues­day, Septem­ber 3 from 10am-noon at The Na­tional Hunt Pub, Benhall Av­enue.

Part of the Big Mcmil­lan Cof­fee Morn­ing, there will be a raf­fle with pro­ceeds to Mcmil­lan.

» Cheltenham Re­gen­er­a­tion and Re­pair Cafe’s next fix is on Satur­day, Septem­ber 6 from 10am-1pm at St An­drews Church, Mont­pel­lier Street.

Re­pairs are free but do­na­tions are en­cour­aged to keep the project go­ing.

All helpers and new vol­un­teers are very wel­come.

Ev­ery­thing from vac­uum clean­ers to toast­ers and cloth­ing can be re­paired.

Wendy Mills makes jams, jel­lies, mar­malades and pick­les and you can try her lovely pre­serves in re­turn for a do­na­tion to Sue Ryder Hospice.

She wel­comes your sur­plus fruit and veg­eta­bles to use in her pre­serves and also your un­wanted 380g/12oz jam jars.

She is no longer able to travel around but is still mak­ing and any­one can col­lect from her home (ring first on 01242 695518) and sup­plies are avail­able from Sue Ryder Day Cen­tre, Leck­hamp­ton Court and the Sue Ryder Stow-on-the-wold Shop.
