» There will be a coffee morning in aid of Mcmillan on Tuesday, September 3 from 10am-noon at The National Hunt Pub, Benhall Avenue.
Part of the Big Mcmillan Coffee Morning, there will be a raffle with proceeds to Mcmillan.
» Cheltenham Regeneration and Repair Cafe’s next fix is on Saturday, September 6 from 10am-1pm at St Andrews Church, Montpellier Street.
Repairs are free but donations are encouraged to keep the project going.
All helpers and new volunteers are very welcome.
Everything from vacuum cleaners to toasters and clothing can be repaired.
Wendy Mills makes jams, jellies, marmalades and pickles and you can try her lovely preserves in return for a donation to Sue Ryder Hospice.
She welcomes your surplus fruit and vegetables to use in her preserves and also your unwanted 380g/12oz jam jars.
She is no longer able to travel around but is still making and anyone can collect from her home (ring first on 01242 695518) and supplies are available from Sue Ryder Day Centre, Leckhampton Court and the Sue Ryder Stow-on-the-wold Shop.
