Department store launches recruitment drive
AHEAD of Christmas and the busiest shopping time of the year, the John Lewis & Partners store in Cheltenham is aiming to take on 25 seasonal staff members.
The temporary staff will fill roles across the business, from behind-thescenes operation roles to working in the fashion, home or electrical and home technology departments, assisting with anything from recommending different types of Christmas trees to helping customers find a Christmas gift for a loved one.
John Lewis & Partners is also looking to fill temporary distribution and driver roles across its networks, to support both shops and website.
