Bishop’s Cleeve Methodist Church Wednesday Fellowship welcomes new members both men and women to all meetings which take place in the Church Hall at 2pm. On September 25 it is the AGM.
Our annual ‘Big Squeeze’ apple juicing day will be on Sunday, October 6, between noon-3pm and will again be at Court Farm Shop on Stoke Orchard Road.
You are invited to bring your windfalls for pressing and take away a bottle or two of fresh apple juice (bring your own container).
We will be harvesting apples at Grangefield Community Orchard the previous day, October 5, from 11am, all are welcome to take part.

Baking, Making Shaking WI is a fun group launched in 2015 which meets on the first Thursday of each month at Bishop’s Cleeve Football Club, Kayte Lane from 8–10pm.
Come along as a visitor and enjoy the speaker, tea/coffee and cake for only £3, make friends and have a giggle.
On September 5, The Severn Freewheelers will visit to talk about their night time role.
Susie Mcguire has formed a social group aimed at people aged 60+ in the area.
The idea is to meet for cinema, theatre, meals out and general get togethers.

The Sir Frank Whittle Pairs Challenge is being played at Cirencester Golf Club on Tuesday, October 1, and is open to ladies and gentlemen as part of fund raising to furnish a new exhibition hall and education centre at the Jet Age Museum, the memorial to the importance and history of aviation in Gloucestershire.
It is entirely run by volunteers with free admission and relies on donations.
It provides fun and information for families and enthusiasts alike.
This is an opportunity for a day of enjoyable, but not seriously competitive, golf for an excellent cause in a beautiful location. Entry £79 per pair.

There will be a Table Top Sale at Denley Hall, Bishop’s Cleeve on the first Saturday of the month from 10-11am.
Refreshments are available and cakes are for sale. There is also a raffle. Entrance is free.

Cleeve Carers and Friendship group reaches out to those in the community who may not be carers but are home alone or would like to meet with others for friendship.

St Michael’s Hall hosts North Cotswold Foodbank sessions every Friday from 9.45-11.15am.
Donations to the food bank can be left at Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council office, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9am-3pm, Wednesdays 10am-3pm.
