Sea­sonal cel­e­bra­tion wel­comes fam­i­lies for two-days of fun

» THE Three Coun­ties Show­ground will be packed this week­end for the an­nual Malvern Au­tumn Show.

The show, which plays host to the CANNA UK Na­tional Gi­ant Veg­etable Cham­pi­onships, takes place this week­end, Septem­ber 28-29

It fea­tures a whole range of fam­ily ac­tiv­i­ties - with many of them free – mak­ing it the per­fect au­tumn day out.

From fair­ground rides and circus skills to wildlife and an­i­mal dis­plays, the show of­fers plenty to keep young vis­i­tors en­ter­tained.

The Fam­ily Green is the hub for free ac­tiv­i­ties where chil­dren can get ac­tive and creative.

At the heart of the Fam­ily Green is the Top Dogs Arena with com­men­tat­ing from Peter Purves, and packed with dis­plays from four-legged friends.

Dis­plays in­clude duck herd­ing demon­stra­tions from the Quack Pack, Dog Agility com­pe­ti­tions.

» VIN­TAGE ve­hi­cles are ready to ar­rive at Sude­ley Cas­tle for a clas­sic car show.

The an­nual event, which this year will be held this Sun­day, Septem­ber 29, at­tracts a range of cars which are put on dis­play on the North Lawn.

» Fans of run­ning have two half marathons in the county to pick from this Sun­day.

Chel­tenham’s Half Marathon and Com­mu­nity Mile event at­tracts thou­sands of com­peti­tors and spec­ta­tors each year.

Mean­while the For­est of Dean Au­tumn Half Marathon is run en­tirely on for­est trails.
