Ap­peal af­ter mo­tor­cy­clist dis­cov­ered in ditch

A MO­TOR­CY­CLIST has been found se­ri­ously in­jured in a par­tially wa­ter­filled ditch.

Po­lice at­tended North­moor Lane near South Cer­ney, Cirences­ter, just be­fore 11pm on Satur­day night, where they made the dis­cov­ery. The man, said to be in his 50s, had head and fa­cial in­juries, as well as oth­ers on his body.

He was taken to the Great Western Hospi­tal in Swin­don be­fore be­ing trans­ferred to South­mead Hospi­tal in Bris­tol. The man re­mains in a se­ri­ous but sta­ble con­di­tion at this time.

Glouces­ter­shire Con­stab­u­lary are aware that the am­bu­lance ser­vice re­ceived a call re­port­ing the col­li­sion.

Of­fi­cers would like to hear from any­one who trav­elled along North­moor Lane be­tween 9pm and 11pm last night and who may have seen a mo­tor­cy­cle or the man ly­ing be­side the road.
