Appeal after motorcyclist discovered in ditch
A MOTORCYCLIST has been found seriously injured in a partially waterfilled ditch.
Police attended Northmoor Lane near South Cerney, Cirencester, just before 11pm on Saturday night, where they made the discovery. The man, said to be in his 50s, had head and facial injuries, as well as others on his body.
He was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon before being transferred to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. The man remains in a serious but stable condition at this time.
Gloucestershire Constabulary are aware that the ambulance service received a call reporting the collision.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who travelled along Northmoor Lane between 9pm and 11pm last night and who may have seen a motorcycle or the man lying beside the road.
