Line-up is re­vealed for next break­fast event

» LO­CAL net­work­ing or­gan­i­sa­tion Chel­tenham Con­nect has un­veiled the line-up for its next event which will fo­cus on Chel­tenham in the 2020s.

The break­fast event will see a chaired panel dis­cus­sion be­tween Chel­tenham MP Alex Chalk, Max Wilkin­son, Chel­tenham Bor­ough Coun­cil­lor and Prospec­tive Par­lia­men­tary Can­di­date, Lizzie Ge­orge, Founder of Cre­ate on the Square CIC, Di­rec­tor of Chel­tenham BID and Vice Pres­i­dent of Chel­tenham Cham­ber of Com­merce, Ke­van Black­ad­der and Ali­son Townsend, Mar­ket­ing Man­ager Glouces­ter­shire Col­lege.

The panel will be dis­cussing their vi­sion for Chel­tenham in the 2020s, with a fo­cus on busi­ness, com­mu­nity, ed­u­ca­tion and the en­vi­ron­ment.

Belinda Wil­son, founder mem­ber of Chel­tenham Con­nect and Skillspace Group Leader, said: “We think it is im­por­tant to think about the next decade and to hear the vi­sion for the 2020s from some of the key play­ers in the com­mu­nity.”

The de­bate is tak­ing place on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 4 at Chel­tenham Bowl­ing Club, Suf­folk Square, GL50 2DX.

Doors open at 8.30am for cof­fee and crois­sants and tick­ets are priced at £5, with any profit made do­nated to Sue Ry­der Leck­hamp­ton Court Hospice. Visit to book.
