Will offensive slogan be taken off website?

Gloucestershire Echo - - LETTERS & OPINION -

✒ PHILIP Cole, Chairman of Cheltenham for Europe, is quite right to deplore the ‘virulent language used by Boris Johnson and Attorney General Geoffrey Cox in the House of Commons’ and to remind us that Amber Rudd, extory MP and cabinet minister, has warned that such aggressive rhetoric could incite violence against opponents (Letters, October 3).

I am, therefore, sure that it is no more than an oversight on Mr Cole’s part that an offensive, aggressive and insulting slogan appears on Cheltenham for Europe’s website.

I am confident that, rather than risk inciting violence against Leave supporters in Cheltenham, he will see to it that the slogan is removed forthwith. Michael James Cheltenham
