Apperley go up as league line-up ratified

» THE line-up for the 2020 Greene King IPA Gloucester­shire County League has been confirmed.

Division One champions Apperley and runners-up Thornbury II have been elevated to the Gloucester­shire Division in the West of England Premier League.

Coming down in the opposite direction are Tewkesbury while three sides – Cam, Westbury-on-severn and Aston Ingham – have been promoted into Division One from Division Two.

Four teams, meanwhile, have been promoted into Division Seven.

Arriving from the Cheltenham Forest Gloucester League are St Phillips North and Parkend, Stroud League champions Eastcombe plus Oaksey, from the Cotswold League.

Lechlade, who had been set to be relegated from Division Six, have resigned from the County League. Division One: Aston Ingham, Cam, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham II, Chipping Sodbury, Kingsholm, Lydney, Poulton, Tewkesbury, Westbury-onsevern.

Division Two: Chipping Campden, Cinderford St John, Gloucester AIW, Great Rissington, Hatherley & Reddings II, Hawkesbury Upton, Langford, Redmarley, Shurdingto­n, Woodmancot­e Saints.

Division Three: Bourton Vale II, Fairford, Framptonon-severn, Frocester III, Newent, Oldlands, Rockhampto­n II, Tetbury, Ullenwood Bharat, Woodpecker­s.

Division Four: Birdlip & Brimpsfiel­d, Cheltenham III, Cheltenham Civil Service II, Chipping Sodbury II, Corse & Staunton II, Cranham, Dumbleton II, Dymock, Sheepscomb­e, Tewkesbury II.

Division Five: Charlton Kings II, Churchdown, Cirenceste­r II, Cricklade, Gloucester II, Lydney II, Minchinham­pton, Stone, Stroud II, Witcombe.

Division Six: Apperley II, Chedworth, Hardwicke, Haresfield Gladiators, Kings Stanley, Kingsholm II, Ruardean Hill, Tormarton, Upton St Leonard, Whitminste­r.
