We shouldn’t have to walk through rubbish

✒ I AM a volunteer litter picker for Tewkesbury Borough Council and recently I cleared a large bagful of cans, glass and plastic bottles, plastic bags and other assorted rubbish from the lane near my home.

At least in these times I am saved the sandwich wrappers and polystyrene take-away cartons.
