Help small firms when lockdown has finished

-

✒ TOWARDS the end of January, there was talk of the deadly COVID-19 virus approaching our shores.

Unfortunately people were re-entering the country from holidays and business commitments abroad with the possibility of carrying in the virus.

They were not being tested or their last known contacts being traced.

Now there are over 20,000 contact tracers apparently and increased testing which is a good step but so late in the day.

So as we trickle out of lockdown in the following months I would like to thank the following people of Gloucestershire

Thanks to all the NHS workers , local Care workers, teachers Looking after carers children and putting schoolwork on line for lockdown pupils, food shop workers, delivery people , council refuse workers and anyone who had to continue to work during the Lockdown period. Therefore my personal purpose of this letter was to thank two shops in my area.

Grandvilles at Warden Hill and their owners Tina, Duncan and Rebecca who have soldiered on to servecustomers and deliver to lockdown customers like myself during these difficult times.

My other thanks go to The Shurdington News at the Yarnolds, Shurdington
