THE timetables and restrictions for Stagecoach’s bus services has been released ready for the Christmas period.

In a newsletter sent to customers this week, a spokesperson for the travel company said: “As you’ve probably heard, a local restriction tier system will be in place across England from Wednesday December 2.

“Whichever tier you’re in, we’re still here for the journeys you need to make and we’re not expecting to amend our services until our timetables change for the festive period.”

They also said: “Remember, unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering throughout your journey. Please use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance from other passengers and take your litter with you.

“Please plan ahead as some of our services may be busier than normal and try to take the most direct route available.

“Check Christmas timetables on our website before you travel.”

Stagecoach have also added a ‘quieter bus’ function on their app.

The colour coded buses means you can use the live map to choose the quietest service on your route.
