Fab 4matic

Mercedes-benz is really getting into gear with its electrification programme. The luxury EQS was announced a couple of weeks ago and now we have the EQB, a fully-electric version of the current GLB seven-seat SUV.

The EQB will arrive in British showrooms later this year. Exactly which versions will come here hasn’t been announced but one of the first arrivals will be the EQB 350 4Matic with two electric motors (one for each axle) which produce a combined output of 288bhp.

Later we’ll be getting the EQB 250 which has a single motor driving the front wheels, and the EQB 300 which is also 4wd but with less powerful motors. Expect a range of 260 miles for the 350.
