Where is the report on incinerator contract?
WHY is the auditors report on the currently Conservative Gloucestershire County Council’s £600million and Javelin Park waste incinerator not to be published until after the elections?
And why has the Council’s Audit and Governance Committee also been denied sight of what has been found in this four-year investigation?
Apart from being an astonishing eyesore just off junction 12 of the M5 in an otherwise lovely part of the county visible from the Forest of Dean - is it value for money especially as the contract with Balfour Beatty rocketed from £450million in 2013 to £630million in 2016, with work only starting on the incinerator in that year.
I think we should be told.
