Winter wonderland Festive plans are confirmed
AN exciting new attraction will be coming to just across the county border this Christmas. It might only be May, but the Three Counties Showground in Malvern has announced that ‘a world of festive wonder’ will be arriving to the Showground in November.
The event, which will be running until January 2022, is the perfect opportunity for fans of the festive season to immerse themselves in a magical wonderland.
A festive food quarter, daytime entertainment, and a winter light trail are among the fun experiences promised at Winter Glow 2021-22.
Visitors will be able to skate on one of the region’s largest real ice rinks, and relax over lunch at the indoor Ice Cafe afterwards.
There will also be a spectacular new light trail, which sparkles across the grounds under starlight, boasting giant illuminations.
But for those looking for a rush, a giant observation wheel will soar thrill seekers to a great height, so they can see Malvern from a whole new perspective.
An Arctic Express train will be meandering magically around the grounds, offering families the traditional yet personalised opportunity to meet Father Christmas and the elves in his cosy cabin.
Winter Glow will kick off in the mid- dle of November, with the opening of the impressive ice rink, then followed by the Illuminated Light Trail, Mal- vern’s first giant observation wheel, and, finally, the Father Christmas experiences happening throughout December.
