Drivers alert rescuers to motorcyclist in ditch
A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after driving into a ditch in the Cotswolds.
The fire and ambulance service were called to the incident just outside Mickleton last Friday morning.
Crews from Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-marsh rushed to the scene to help the man after passing drivers called 999.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed he was taken to hospital for treatment.
Glosfire tweeted: “Chipping Campden and a co-responder from Moreton-in-marsh have been at a motorcycle in a ditch just outside Mickleton with @swasft this morning.
“One male being treated and conveyed to hospital, great work by passing drivers to notice and call 999.”
