JUDGING for the Gloucestershirelive Business Awards 2022 has taken place. The annual awards, which are back for 2022 in partnership with returning headline sponsors Randall & Payne, have been celebrating the best of business in the county for nearly a quarter of a century.

Last week, business leaders from around Gloucestershire gathered at Randall & Payne’s offices near Cheltenham to discuss the entries across a wide range of categories, including two new ones – the Sustainability Award and the Charity of the Year.

Following more than two hours of discussions, the finalists for each category were drawn up.

Tim Watkins, head judge and managing partner of Randall & Payne, said: “It was great to see so many entries this year and many from those that had either not entered for some time or hadn’t entered before.

“There was plenty of lively debate among the judges and the process was as rigorous as ever so the winners can be sure their awards are well earned!”

The awards, which are being run in partnership with Businesslive, will be presented at a ceremony at Cheltenham Racecourse on October 13, bringing together senior leaders and decision-makers from across industries including technology, engineering, media, retail and property.

Tickets to the awards cost £80 (plus VAT) per person or £720 (plus VAT) for a table of 10. To book, visit the event website at glosbusinessawards.co.uk

The charity was founded by her parents, Nick and Mandy, along with sister Chloe, and works to reduce domestic violence by delivering programmes on domestic abuse and promoting healthy relationships in schools and colleges.

It runs workshops, including intervention workshops, and events throughout the year.

We will be fundraising for the charity on the night of the awards dinner.

The names of the finalists will be revealed in a special Businesslive newsletter tomorrow, August 12.
