Peugeot has given its 208 range a refresh for the summer with some straightforward name changing.

Gone are the Active Premium and Allure Premium trim levels to be replaced by Active Premium+ and Allure Premium+ trims.

Wonder how many meetings it took to decide that? Active Premium+ (the entry-level 208 trim) cars now come with dark tinted back and rear side windows plus active windscreen wipers and climate control.

Allure Premium+ models get aluminium finishes on pedals and door sills, and a new 7in touchscreen.

The good news is that prices are unchanged.
