THE COMPETITION JUST GOT STIFFER
Audi is producing a limited run of 75 Competition-edition RS 4 Avants that will retail at £84,000 a pop.
Powered by a 450PS 2.9-litre V6 engine, the car will hit a top speed of 180mph and will sprint to 62mph in 3.9sec, which is slightly quicker than the standard RS 4.
The RS 4 Avant Competition model has its suspension set 10mm lower than standard, and the driver can drop it a further 10mm if desired. It also sports stiffer springs, three-way adjustable dampers and stiffer anti-roll bars.
Also included is a sports exhaust system with matt black tailpipes.
Inside, there’s upholstery unique to the Competition and red stitching.
Here’s another car that’s likely to become collectible in the future as the electric vehicle revolution gathers pace.
