SWITCHED ON JEEPS
US manufacturer Jeep has announced that 100% of the vehicles it sells in Europe by 2030 will be electric.
Jeep’s first all-electric SUV will be called the Avenger and will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in a month’s time.
This car will be followed by three other BEVS that will include the Wagoneer and an all-new model called the Recon that will go on sale in the US early next year and in Europe later.
It’ll be interesting to see whether Jeep develops a Wrangler, its most iconic and rugged model, with an electric powertrain.
