Appeal after reports girl pulled into vehicle
POLICE have launched an appeal after a man reported that a teenage girl had been pulled into a vehicle.
Officers identified and spoke to children who witnessed the incident and carried out a full search of the area.
“At around 8.10pm yesterday (Thursday September 22) a man reported to police that a group of young people had approached him to say a teenage girl had been pulled into a vehicle in Gwernant Road at the junction with Alma Road,” Gloucestershire police said.
“The witnesses reported seeing four people in a grey BMW stop and pull a teenage girl into the vehicle before driving away erratically and heading along Alma Road towards the
Lansdown Road area. The girl is not believed to be someone who has been reported missing in the county so police are now asking the public for any information that may help identify her or those in the vehicle.”
