Here’s one for hardcore BMW fans. It’s the new M4 CSL, a hotter and more focused version of the standard M4. It’s also, at £128,820, considerably more expensive. However, as only 100 of them will be coming to the UK it could be an investment.

For your money you get an extra 40bhp, bringing the total from the 3.0-litre twin-turbo six to 550bhp. The CSL also comes with a carbon fibre roof, bonnet and boot lid as well as a host of other weight-saving features.
