ATMS out of action following damage

-

TWO cash machines at the Waitrose store in Cheltenham have been sealed off after being wrecked.

The money dispensers were put out of action after seemingly being attacked.

Customers going to get cash at the shop in Honeybourne Way on Saturday morning found that the machines had been sealed off with red tape, which said: “Danger, do not use”.

The displays had been smashed in what looked to have been a violent attack.

Staff told shoppers that the machines were outside of Waitrose’s control but that they expected them to be repaired in due course.

They did not have any information as to what had happened to cause the damage.

Waitrose has been approached for comment.
