RESIDENTS at a Cheltenham nursing home enjoyed more treats than tricks this Halloween.

The residents at Wentworth Court, on Village Road, who live with moderate to severe dementia, enjoyed a day of spooktacular activities including pumpkin decorating, ghoulish games and tasting devilish delights.

Staff members Amy Gore and Jess Johnson brought along their babies in Halloween fancy dress, much to the delight of everyone who enjoyed a cuddle.

Wellbeing team leader, Ben Pargeter, said: “Annual events such as Halloween provide a focus for conversation, craft activities and the excuse for a party.

“We’ve enjoyed listening to some spooky tunes and created some creepy but delicious cakes for residents to enjoy.”
