Why were we so unprepared?

WHAT a sturdy and successful tenure of office these last ten years have been for the Tories.

If I have to hear that word ‘unprecedented’ again, I will go mad!

War and epidemics have been with us throughout our time on this planet.

We have very expensive departments dedicated to informing the Government of their ongoing status.

Assuming they have done their job – and why wouldn’t they – why were we so unprepared for both?

Corruption, cronyism, division everywhere, the NHS fit for further privatisation, the rich richer despite levelling up!

The working man and woman poorer. The only thing missing are the workhouses and prison ships. Perhaps these were the priorities? Mission nearly accomplished, good job well done. Enough said.
