Fun for the sun

Remember the Mini Moke, the little Jeep-like car designed by Mini creator Alec Issigonis which became a ’60s icon? The Beatles drove one, and so did James Bond and Brigitte Bardot.

Well, a Northamptonshire company bought the rights and recently launched an electric version. Now its all-electric Moke Californian is going back to the USA. The old one was popular on the Californian coast, including with The Beach Boys. The new one has a range of 80 miles.
