Fine start continues as Gloucester-hartpury ease past Worcester

GLOUCESTER-HARTPURY continued their fine start to the season with a convincing 48-15 Allianz Cup win against The University of Worcester Warriors at the Alpas Arena.

Sophie Tandy and Natasha Hunt darted over early on, and Tandy followed that up with another in the 16th minute.

Rachel Lund scored the bonus point try five minutes later, and recently crowned Guinness Rugby Writers Player of the Year, Neve Jones, crashed over for a sixth on the half hour mark.

A penalty try and an Ellie Underwood score two minutes either side of half time put the final result beyond doubt, but, after a 73rd minute try from Jayne Isherwood, Warriors rallied late on scoring three tries in as many minutes through Vicky Laflin, Carys Cox, and Flo Long.
