WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK:

-

■ If you are looking for a sophisticated scent that will see you through autumn and winter, then invest in a bottle of Aesop Eidesis, £140 for 50ml (aesop.com).

It’s warm and rich, thanks to notes of sandalwood and frankincense, yet with an autumnal freshness, courtesy of black pepper.

A treat buy, to be sure, but it lasts well.

■ It was a case of love at first use with Kate Somerville Hydrakate Recharging Water Cream, £65 (katesomerville. co.uk).

As the name suggests, this cream from the La-based skincare guru is super-moisturising and contains dual-weight hyaluronic acid – an ingredient that can hydrate different layers of the skin. We’ll be using it all winter.

■ There’s nothing more relaxing than a long, hot soak, and Soapsmith Bergenhus

Bath Soak, £30 (soapsmith. com) has become our go-to treat for a spa-at-home experience.

The scent is warming and delightfully festive – think fig, ginger lily and amber.

And as a bonus, a little of the limited-edition eco-friendly salts goes a long way.
