Sexual entertainment licence a blot on town
I WRITE to express my concern at the proposed granting of a “sexual entertainment licence” including stripping and lap dancing during the Cheltenham Festival period.
Surely Cheltenham can do without this sort of entertainment.
The papers are full of rapes and sexual violence against women on an almost daily basis, and this type of thing certainly will not help.
It cheapens and degrades women and girls.
I know the festival brings an awful lot of money into the area but I think this application is a blot on the town. Victor Beston
