Braverman reservations were correct

-

THE reservations expressed by fellow Tory MPS over Suella Braverman being appointed as Home Secretary clearly fell on deaf ears.

She has been allowed to pussyfoot around the whole migration issue. She really is an accident waiting to happen.

The beleaguered Home Secretary used an RAF helicopter to fly 20 miles to visit a migrant processing centre, an outrageous waste of taxpayers’ money.

Yet the visit did present the opportunity to clarify policy and answer questions from the media, but she bottled it and slipped out of a side door.

Under her stewardship a number of asylum seekers were dumped at London’s

Victoria Station highly distressed with nowhere to go causing a mass outpouring of shoulder shrugging in the Home Office.

How can any Home Secretary remain silent when confronted with wretched conditions at an overcrowded processing centre?

Her statements have been designed to fan the flames of hatred and provide scapegoats.

Never has such a hopeless government needed scapegoats so much to deflect away from its dreadful record.

Suella Braverman needs to be replaced by a proper Home Secretary. Shaun Shute
