Holland wins batter award
» DUMBLETON’S Dan Holland was named Batter of the Year award at the West of England Premier League’s annual dinner.
The opener finished with 1,117 runs at an average of 85.92, with a highest score of 200 not out, as his side finished second in the Gloucestershire division.
Holland hit 29 for Dumbleton at Lord’s in their 86-run victory over holders Calmore Sports in the Voneus Village Cup final.
Gloucester’s Scott Montgomery was named the Gloucestershire division’s player of the year and Tom Hage, of Hatherley & Reddings took the Premier Two Glos/wilts award.
