Will Roy come a cropper?
Going head-to-head with Griff may have put the Corrie icon in peril, while things look bad for Bernie
CORONATION Street icon Roy Cropper could end up putting himself in danger in the coming weeks as he goes head-to-head with far-right extremist Griff.
Griff, who has been trying to recruit Max, organises a meeting at the community centre which, on paper at least, appears to be about the environment.
However, he soon reveals his racist attitude, prompting Roy to make him look a fool by pulling apart Griff’s argument.
Roy, Maria, Gary and Brian then decide that the venue would be the perfect place for a drop-in centre for refugees, something that will go down like a lead balloon with Griff, who seems likely to bounce back quickly thanks to Max’s video of the event. Roy is particularly horrified by it, and warns David that Max’s new friend is a bad influence. But what will David think of Griff when they finally come face to face?
