Insurance company’s staff get free breakfast

AN insurance company is providing free breakfast and lunch to employees each day in a bid to support workers amid the cost-of-living crisis.

Tewkesbury-based Kingsbridg­e Insurance said it wanted to show staff “extra support” as many struggle with rising food prices and bill hikes.

As well as free food, Kingsbridg­e, recently started using Perkbox - an employee rewards platform that offers discounts to staff on big brands such as Greggs, Tesco and Argos.

Paul Havenhand, chief executive at Kingsbridg­e, said: “We take the welfare of our employees very seriously, and staff morale is important to us. With the cost-of-living biting everywhere, we wanted to show them some extra support where we can.”

On Founded in 2001, Kingsbridg­e provides insurance, consulting and financial services to the UK’S contractor and freelancer workforce. Backed by NSM Insurance Group, the firm has a number of brands including Kingsbridg­e Contractor Insurance and Kingsbridg­e Broker Insurance.
