Gala knocked off the top after Bromley hit back to reach summit

BROMLEY Heath United knocked Gala Wilton off the top of the County League after beating them 2-1 on Saturday.

Gala started the better and their reward came on 20 minutes when Connor Walters made a run down the left, coming inside the full back to score a fine individual goal.

The equaliser came just before the break through Sam Edwards and the game was decided on eighty minutes when Edwards slid in from close range to score the winner.

Occupying third and fourth places at kick-off, Cribbs Reserves came from behind to win 2-1 over Sharpness.

The Sharks took the lead in the 14th minute when Cribbs keeper Harry Bridgeman was dispossess­ed in his area allowing Alex Higgs in to score.

Cribbs levelled in the 27th minute as Jack Guthrie fired past Truan Taylor and the winner came on the hour from Keiran Clayton.

Pat Vernall’s last-minute winner gave Hardwicke a 2-1 win over Broadwell Amateurs at Green Lane.

Just before the break Hardwicke scored when Will Matthews flicked the ball on for Nathan Barnett to bundle home, but Broadwell levelled on the hour after Jack Knight crossed for Taylor

Blaby to head home.

After hitting the bar three times during the match Broadwell were sunk when

Vernall headed home Dowdeswell’s corner for the winner.

Cheltenham Civil Service ended their indifferen­t run, beating Henbury 4-2.

Service flew out of the blocks and were one up on two minutes, as Chisom Obi’s cross was deflected in for an own goal and they made it two through Jamie Lewis.

Fabian Pereira replied for Henbury, but Service restored their two-goal advantage as Lewis netted his second.

A Rhys Iles penalty made it 3-2, but Gareth Jones added a fourth to seal the win - both sides finishing with 10 men after a red card apiece.

Ruardean Hill Rangers fell 3-0 at home to Little Stoke.

John Pugsley Mike Hardiman and Luke Meacham scored the goals, while Hill’s Bobby Walding was dismissed for two yellows.

A late penalty for Stoke Gifford gave them a 1-0 win over Frampton United, when Karakus was brought down allowing Tauren Williams to convert and take the three points.

Quedgeley Wanderers crashed 5-0 at Rockleaze Rangers, Sam Bailey, George James, Dan Webb, Tommy Collins and Jensen Beard scoring the goals.
