Booze and ball games for New Look site?
A NEW drinks and games leisure venue could be set up in Cheltenham’s High Street.
Roxy Leisure wants to open a Roxy Lanes site in the three-storey building that houses the New Look shop at ground-floor level.
The company, which advertises that it offers “booze and ball games”, already has Roxy Lanes in eight British cities, including Bristol.
It has submitted an application for a premises licence to the borough council that would enable entertainment, including films and recorded music, and the sale of alcohol.
The company wants to open until 2am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The Bristol Roxy Lanes offers ten-pin bowling, batting cages, karaoke rooms, ice-free curling, duck pin bowling, American pool, shuffleboard, beer pong and basketball and shows live sport.
