» The Methodist Church in Bishop’s Cleeve has launched a Friendship Club. The club will meet in the Methodist Church, off Tobyfield Road, every Monday 2-4pm.
» The Methodist Wednesday Fellowship has resumed its regular fortnightly meetings at 2pm. December 7, Chris Bird. December 21, Christmas Outing. All welcome.
» Cheltenham Street Pastors, (CSP), is an inter-denominational group offering support, and ministry to those who are out in the town late at night. Teams are out in Cheltenham on as many Fridays and Saturdays as possible.
Shifts run from 10pm to 4am covering the middle of Cheltenham town centre and the main night-time venues. Each team works one evening once every four weeks.
Prayer support: As well as Street Pastors each project has Prayer Pastors who commit to pray for the teams out on the street.

» Cleeve Chorale are welcoming new members. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at Woodmancote Village Hall 7.45-9.45pm and the choir welcomes tenors, basses, altos and sopranos.

» Bishop’s Cleeve Foodbank. Please can you take any donations to Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Office (next to Tesco’s car park) any Friday morning between 9am and noon. Please refer to the latest shopping list for further details of shortages on the donating food link at https://northcotswold. foodbank.org.uk and also details for making direct monetary donations.
» Badham Pharmacy has a special collection point to tackle hygiene poverty in the UK. Required donations, toiletries, female sanitary products, baby wipes, nappies and laundry products.
» The Cleeve Common Trust News. The Memorial Programme has been running for several years now and allows local residents to donate in memory of a loved one that will support the conservation of Cleeve Common. A plaque is then placed on the Memorial Wall in their honour.
On the existing Memorial Wall, the upper two faces are full, but the lowest tiers of the long sides are vertical and can be used for narrower plaques. We are also building a second Wall near the iconic ‘Three Sisters’ or ‘Twin’ beech trees, and we hope to be able to accept plaques by the end of the year.

» The St Michaels Centre Trustees and Volunteers are currently holding periodic tea and cake afternoons, for Hosts and Ukrainian Refugees and are also providing facilities for English lessons on a Monday evening. It is all part of our outreach activities.
As a result of these get-togethers, we have identified some needs within this community that we feel our Church family may be able to help with.

» The Alpha Course will begin from
January 12 for ten weeks, in Woodmancote School. Sign-up leaflets are available on the Alpha Stand in St. Michael and All Angels Church, and Invitation Cards will soon be available. Parishioners will be asked to provide prayer support for the sessions (not necessarily on-site), and for people to help with Welcome and Hospitality, and with transport. » Volunteer minibus driver needed. Cleeve Carers and Friendship are looking for a volunteer minibus driver to enable us to use the Stoke Orchard community bus for outings four times a year.
The driver must be aged between 25 and 70 years of age, have a clean license and a D1 on their licence with experience of driving similar vehicles.

» Volunteers Needed for Christingle Preparation. In preparation for the Christingle Service on December 18, we require 2 or 3 volunteers to help prepare the Christingle oranges and packs on Friday, December 16.
