-

CHELTENHAM College will play host to a pair of County Championship Division Two local derbies next summer.

Gloucestershire will meet Glamorgan over four days from July 20 to 23, and then host Worcestershire from July 26 to 29.

In between those games, Western Storm will also play a Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy game at the ground on July 24 against Sunrisers.

Gloucestershire then host Wiltshire on July 30 in a 50-over friendly game before starting their Royal London One Day Cup campaign at the College with games against Derbyshire on August 1 and Northamptonshire on August 4.

The County Championship season returns on April 6, in the same format as last year – each county will play 14 fixtures.

Gloucestershire, having finished bottom of Division One, open their Division Two campaign on that date with a game against Glamorgan at Cardiff.

There will be six Championship rounds to open the season and five in June and July, with the final three rounding the season off in September.

The Vitality T20 Blast will remain in the same format as 2022 – each county will play 14 group-stage matches, with the top four in each group progressing to the quarter-finals.

The One-day Cup group stage will be played alongside The Hundred, beginning on August 1.

All 18 counties will play against a National County in warm-up games on July 30.

Gloucestershire also have a T20 match against the New Zealand touring side at Bristol on August 27.

For Western Storm, the fixture list for the Rachael Heyhoe-flint Trophy has doubled, now containing 14 50-over fixtures per season for each women’s regional team.

The 20-over Charlotte Edwards Cup will also see an extra fixture per team, as well as 20 double-headers at Charlotte Edwards Cup and Vitality Blast fixtures, including the games at Bristol on June 4, where Gloucestershire face Middlesex and Storm are up against Central Sparks.
