Traditional Christmas Day race set to return
THE traditional Gloucester Christmas morning three-mile road race handicap, cancelled in 2021 because of Covid, will return for its 59th running on December 25.
Starting at 10.30am from the Tewkesbury Road and Northern bypass junction, runners must arrive by 10am, and be aged 15 or over.
There is no entry fee, but competitors are invited to donate a suitable small Christmas gift for the local food bank.
The race will be followed by the 53rd Kenilworth Avenue 180-metre uphill sprint handicap.
