Maule equaliser sees Frampton snatch a point

FRAMPTON United knocked Bromley Heath off the top of the County League as Stuart Maule’s stoppage-time equaliser gave them a 2-2 draw.

United led when Manolo Espada scored a fine individual goal but Bromley equalised through Sam Edwards and Antonio Nurse put them in front before substitute Maule hit an unstoppabl­e long range volley to get Frampton a point.

Bromley slip to second place in the League on goal difference but have two

games in hand over Gala Wilton, who return to the top after a 4-2 win at Wick.

Jordan Molyneux cracked in a superb 25-yarder to put Gala in front but Joe Beardwell and Lewis Wade turned things round as Wick led 2-1.

Six minutes after the restart Dan Gayner equalised, and he put them in front and sealed the win by completing his hat-trick with the last kick of the game.

Cribbs Reserves kept up the pressure on the top two with a 4-0 victory against Quedgeley Wanderers, thanks to goals from Aaron Coleman, Harry Hambly, Jack Guthrie and a second from Coleman, while Sharpness are now fourth.

The Sharks won 1-0 at bottom side Patchway Town, the goal coming on 35 minutes as Rory Cawkwell beat three Patchway defenders on his way into the box before sliding his shot into the bottom right hand corner.

Broadwell Amateurs crashed 4-1 at Rockleaze Rangers, George James bagging a hat-trick.

Sam Bailey got the other goal as Rangers led 4-0 before Broadwell got a consolatio­n through Jack Morton.

Cheltenham Civil Service drew 1-1 at Ruardean Hill Rangers, who took the lead through Shaun Tingle but Brett Blake equalised for Service.

Hardwicke ended with nine men as they lost 3-0 at home to Little Stoke.

After a goalless first half, John Pugsley put Stoke head before Nathan Barnett made a last ditch challenge attempting to keep the ball out but was deemed to have handled when the ball came off his thigh onto his hand.

A penalty was given, and converted by Pugsley, with Barnett sent off, and he was joined by Japhet Humphries before Alex Fox sealed it for Little Stoke with their third goal.
