Seven different scorers as leaders maintain three-point cushion

LONGLEVENS Reserves spread the goalscorin­g around as the Northern Senior League, Division One leaders beat Woolaston 7-2.

Phil Blackburn, Fin Clift, Matt Emmett, Mark Potter, Billy Stokes, Jack Bonser and, Luke Kavanagh scored the goals for Levens, Woolaston’s replies coming from Paul Crook and Andrew Simpson.

Chalford are three points behind with two games in hand, and still unbeaten after goals from Jack Hughes and Sid Fawcett gave them a 2-1 win over Charfield, Declan Frost replying.

Dursley Town are a further three points back after winning 5-0 at Cheltenham Athletic, Steve Jackson (two), Wilf Darley, Jake Dolbear and Aaron Nash on target.

Brockworth Albion are a point back in fourth, and also unbeaten in their opening 10 games, after their 0-0 draw with fifth-placed Berkeley Town.

Lydney Town were 2-0 winners at Abbeymead Rovers, while FC Lakeside were 4-1 winners over Stonehouse Town Reserves.

Ollie Horne scored twice, with Jack Hornsby and Will Arkell also on target, Yacine Benchikh replying for Stonehouse.

Bredon were 4-0 winners over Charlton Rovers with goals from Daryl Mitchell, Neil Goodwin, Sam Jones, and Josh Szikora.

James Davies Ryan Shemwell and Blaine Smith scored for English Bicknor at Smiths Barometric­s, but it was in vain as Baros won 4-3 thanks to goals from Cameron Anderson, Callum Debonis, Tom Hall and Tom Short.

Division Two leaders Tredworth Tigers drew 1-1 with third-placed Staunton and Corse, Brett James on target for Tigers and Reece Styles replying.

Tigers hold a three-point lead over second-placed Tewkesbury Town, who have played a game less, but suffered their first defeat of the season, going down 4-1 at home to King’s Stanley.

Dalton Hoskins scored twice alongside Adam Harley and Nathan Beachus, with Scott Jordan netting for Town.

Falcons are up to fourth after their 5-0 win at Broadwell Amateurs Reserves.

Alin Neamtu and Tom Carter both scored twice, Scott Davies getting the other goal.

Daniel Layton scored both goals for Harrow Hill as they won 2-1 at Forest neighbours Viney St Swithins, for whom Luke Roberts replied.

Curtis Whatley scored twice as Mushet & Coalway United won 3-2 at Barnwood United.

Greg Rutsch got their other goal, with Barnwood’s goals both coming from Scott Walker, one being a penalty.

Frampton United Reserves and Cheltenham Civil Service Reserves both went out of the GFA Junior Cup, losing 5-2 to Westbury United and 4-1 on penalties to Rodborough Old Boys (after a 2-2 draw) respective­ly.
