Wilkinson sends Albion to top

» RORY Wilkinson scored four times as Brockworth Albion won 6-1 at Bibury on Monday to retake top spot in Northern Senior League Division One.

Jamie Martin grabbed the other two with Harrison Archer replying, leaving Albion a point clear.

Chalford are a point behind having played a game fewer after Andrew Maryon gave them a 1-0 win over Dursley Town on Monday, and Saturday’s 2-0 win at FC Lakeside with goals from Ben Minnican and Ryan Outram.

Longlevens Reserves are two points off Brockworth, having played two fewer games. They won 5-1 at Bredon on Saturday, Fin Clift (two), Tommy Callinan, Luke Kavanagh and Alex Knight scoring, with Shea Danter replying and Tredworth Tigers are four points off the top with three games in hand after Lee Smith and Dave Rich gave them a 2-1 win at Woolaston, Elliott Greening replying.

Lydney Town Reserves were 3-0 winners over Berkeley Town, while Charfield beat Bibury 2-0 with goals from Edward Hawkins and Archie Bennett, while English Bicknor won 3-1 at Smiths Barometric­s, who scored through Louis Hyde.

On Tuesday, Stonehouse Town Reserves beat Berkeley Town 3-0 and Tewkesbury Town beat Charfield 4-1.

Whaddon United are promoted to Division One after goals from Jack Townsend and Calum Denman beat Harrow Hill 2-1 on Tuesday. Jordan Mitchell’s goal had given them a 1-0 win at Viney St Swithins on Saturday,

Second-placed Rodborough Old Boys had a 6-0 win over Lybrook Athletic, Jamie Walker (two), Alfie Bradshaw, Travis Cooke, Adam Hazell and Jack Chudleigh scoring.

Staunton and Corse, in third, lost 2-1 at fifthplace­d Frampton United Reserves, Josh Holford and David Jones scoring for Frampton, Staunton’s reply from Matthew Crabb.

Jamie Webley scored both Barnwood goals in their 2-2 draw at Falcons and Harrow Hill drew 2-2 at King’s Stanley, Jeff Preest and Darren Weyman scoring for Hill, with Zack Eckersall and Adam Harley netting for Stanley.

Curtis Whatley’s double helped Mushet & Coalway win 2-1 at Gala Wilton Reserves, and Lydbrook beat Viney 2-1 on Tuesday.
