If last year’s Ryder Cup proved anything, it was that Europe’s new breed have the game to not only compete with the Americans, but beat them. So, who is the next European cab off the Major rank? Two names immediately jump out: Tommy Fleetwood and Jon Rahm.

Fleetwood finished 2nd at last year’s US Open and seems to get more impressive with every outing. Rahm, meanwhile, had two 4th places in 2018 Majors and knows what it takes to win in America. Added to them you have Tyrrell Hatton, Matt Wallace and even Eddie Pepperell, who could sneak in as contenders if they have a good week. Throw in on-off World No.1 Justin Rose and the other Major-winning stars from Paris, and 2019 could be another golden year for European golf.
