Why not feel like a tour pro by creating a corridor of books to putt through? As long as your carpet is (perfectly) flat, you’ll start holing far more of those tricky seven-footers for a point!

It’s a classic. All you need to do is find an old mug, pop it down on the carpet and practise your holing out. Remember, this is probably best as a putting drill, not a chipping one!
