What are the best UK & Ireland courses you’ve not yet played?
Malcolm Higgins, Durham I’m fortunate enough to have played all Golf Monthly’s current Top 100 and 91 of our Next 100. We don’t actually rank the Next 100 numerically, but as a lover of seaside golf, I would say Ardglass in County Down, and the Donegal links duo of Portsalon and Donegal, would be the ones I would most love to get to in 2021 if possible.
What are your favourite inland courses in Wales?
Alun Davies, Wrexham
I played a lot of my early holiday golf in south Wales and got to particularly like Morlais Castle near Merthyr Tydfil, a rugged moorland course that has expanded to 18 holes since my first visit. Cradoc near Brecon offers up some wonderful views, as does Llandrindod Wells in Powys.
Which English counties have you least explored for golf?
Ronald Livingstone, Worcester
The only English county I’ve never played golf in is the Isle of Wight, while my count stands at just one for Cambridgeshire (Ely City), Leicestershire (The Leicestershire) and Rutland (Luffenham Heath). I’ve only played the big two in Nottinghamshire (Notts and Sherwood Forest) so would like to make further inroads there.
