Odyssey White Hot OG putters
Odyssey’s latest putter range draws upon two decades of success. The putters that featured the original White Hot insert – which is made of material from the ‘Rule 35’ golf ball – became immensely popular and still are, thanks to the exceptional feel they provide.
Odyssey has taken the original idea in terms of feel, sound and performance and brought it into 2021 by making it a two-part urethane insert. This has then been combined with a rich silver PVD finish on the rest of the head for a more premium aesthetic.
The putters will be available with either a stepless steel shaft or the multi-material Stroke Lab shaft, which now comes in a candy apple red finish. As well as new visuals, the Stroke Lab shaft has also been reconfigured so that the steel section is shorter and stepless. This drops the weight by seven grams but makes the shaft stiffer, too. Testing shows this improves tempo and swing-arc metrics by six per cent and boosts face-impact consistency by nine per cent.
The White Hot OG line-up includes the #1, #1WS, 2Ball, #5 and #7 models and the Rossie. All of the new putters will come with a grey DFX rubber grip as standard.
