-

1Conners was born in Ontario, Canada. In 2010, he won the Ontario Amateur Championship and he represented Canada in the Eisenhower Trophy in 2012 and 2014, finishing second to an American side that featured Bryson Dechambeau in the 2014 event.

2Also in 2014, Conners finished runner-up in the US Amateur, losing to Gunn Yang 2&1 in the final. Along the way, he defeated Scottie Scheffler in the first round before knocking out Jon Rahm at the last-16 stage. The result earned him a spot in the field for the 2015 Masters, but he missed the cut. He turned pro immediately after.

3He graduated from what is now the Korn Ferry Tour on to the PGA Tour for the 2018 season and won his first event the following year at the Valero Texas Open. In doing so, Conners became the first Monday qualifier to win on the PGA Tour since 2010.
